Responsibility:

Support Services

  1. Support daily operations with hardware diagnostics, troubleshooting, and equipment maintenance.
  2. Manage MIS, security, software installations/patching, and network infrastructure, including firewall and antivirus programs.
  3. Set up and maintain workstations, peripherals, and ensure software is up to date.
  4. Ensure optimal performance and security of local networks and computer systems.
  5. Provide user training on new technologies and software.
  6. Schedule and execute maintenance, upgrades, and replacements without disrupting work.
  7. Liaise with vendors for technical support and updates.
  8. Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve hardware and software issues.
  9. Maintain detailed records of maintenance, repairs, and part replacements.
  10. Oversee and execute additional tasks, including environmental and installation advisories.

Requirements:
  • Qualification in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Demonstrated experience in an IT Technician role or similar, particularly in setting up and managing company IT infrastructures.
  • Familiarity with a range of networking concepts, including Email, Firewalls, Network Security, and Protocols.
  • Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Comprehensive understanding of various computer systems and network configurations.
  • Solid knowledge of online security and data protection principles.
  • IT Technician certifications (such as CompTIA A+ or Microsoft Certified IT Professional) are desirable.
  • Ability to interact effectively with various levels of personnel, both internally and externally.
  • Good command of English – written & spoken
