ATTORNEYS-AT-LAW (2 positions available)
Key Responsibilities
- Represent the firm’s clients in legal proceedings including courts, government agencies and other
relevant institutions - Prepare and draft legal documents
- Prepare and provide legal advice to clients
- Negotiate settlements of civil disputes
- Conduct research and analysis of legal problems
- Participate in networking and business development activities
- Work collaboratively with other lawyers under the supervision of the head of the practice group
Requirements
- Having at least 5 years of experience practicing law after graduating from the Centre for Lawyers Training & Legal Professional Improvement (LTC) in Cambodia, with a strong preference for expertise in civil and criminal procedures
- Licensed to practise law in Cambodia as a member of the Bar Association of the Kingdom of Cambodia
- Master’s Degree in Law from an accredited law school
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Strong analytical ability and proficiency in legal research
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and ethical integrity
- English and Chinese language capability is a plus
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Strong judgment and ability to make well-reasoned independent decisions
- Comfortable working across multiple cultures in a matrix organisation
- High degree of attention to detail
